There are tons of great eco-friendly, green products on the market that will help keep the environment clean of harmful chemicals, and are a great alternative to more popular products that are more mainstream. Energy Saving Products
There are many types of energy saving products on the market designed to use less energy, or use energy more efficiently. In most cases these are products that are saving electricity, but you can also find certain types of products that will help you save heating energy and cooling energy.
Reusable products are probably the best solution to the mounting waste problems that our children face in the future. By using a reusable product or products made from recyclable materials, we can reduce the amount of overall waste that consumable products create on our planet. Reusable Bags - These could be reusable grocery bags, reusable shopping bags, or other types of reusable bags.
Reusable Bottles - These could include metal bottles or types of materials that are safe from BPA.
Reusable Cups - For thousands of years we, have used reusable cups to drink from. It has only been until recently that we have started using materials that are not natural in the cups we drink from. If anything they are a waste and harmful to the environment to manufacture. Reusable Diapers - Yeah, it sounds gross, but they save tons of space in landfills each year. Cloth diapers are also good if certain allergies exist to plastics.
Reusable Utensils - For thousands of years, we have used reusable tools and utensils to prepare and eat our food. Only until recently have we decided to use items made from so called disposable materials like poly plastics and styrofoam.
Glass is one of those materials that is fairly easy to make and can be recycled quite easily as well. When used properly, glass products can last for a very long time, especially special types of glass like Pyrex or tempered glass.
Green Cleaning Products
Cleaning things is a process that seems to never end, and happens every so often in most households. Depending on the cleaning products you use, you could be harming the environment around you, especially if you have a natural sewage system like a septic system or drainage field. These harmful chemicals can leach into the nearby water tables and is not good for the environment. There are plenty of great green cleaning products out there that will not harm the environment and are non-toxic to even children and pets.

Batteries themselves can be a reusable product, even though they might not be considered the most environmentally friendly. Water Saving Products
Saving water might not seem like a big deal, but in most cases, electricity is used to pump the water out of the ground, or used to clean the water in cities, so the more water you use, the more electricity you are using by default. Because of this, you should think twice before taking that 30 minute shower every day and try making it 10 minutes or less.
